Jonas Niederstadt is a music producer (Dipl.-Tonmeister), a certified teacher of the F. M. Alexander Technique and a Craniosacral therapist.
He studied musicology in Oldenburg (Germany), Dipl.-Tonmeister / Balance Engineering at the HfM Detmold and Renaissance lute at the HfK Bremen.
Since 2008 he is running his own record label, Carpe Diem Records. For most of the last decade, he is recording and producing diverse styles of music throughout Europe and beyond for his own label as well as for other labels and musicians, travelling the world and writing about music and its relation to human emotion and consciousness, as well as inquiring into the relations between music, sound and the healing arts.
Since 2021, he lives half-time in Japan and in Europe.
